The Oxford comma is the last comma in a series of things you are listing that comes before the ‘and’.
Sentence with Oxford comma – “My favorite things are writing, reading, and swimming.”
Sentence without Oxford comma – “My favorite things are writing, reading and swimming.”
Some people, especially in formal writing, say the Oxford comma should be removed. I vote no, because it’s clarifying. Without it, the sentence can sound confusing.
Yeah, migraines are hard. I have vision loss, hallucinations, nausea, and then of course severe headache, and that’s not even the worst people go through. Thankfully since I’ve gotten glasses I’ve had fewer of them.
