@steward-of-the-pen Oh goodness, those are weird dreams! And I agree with what you said about the deep and meaningful dream. If we wrote it correctly, we could definitely win.

@coggleton Good questions. I actually never have lucid dreams. 😛 In mine I’m just drifting through scenes and events that make perfect sense at the time but when I’m awake are pretty wacky. I suppose that’s normal. So anyway, a “normal” strange dream might have more of the effect we’re looking for. If the dreamer is aware that they are dreaming (and possibly able to control the dream), it might add more confusion than clarity.  Your second question made me remember something. I heard somewhere (don’t ask me where) that you can only dream about people you’ve seen before. *shrug*

@obrian-of-the-surface-world Wow, that snippet was cool. Good insights, too.

@azeline-d I like that idea, though it seems like it would be very hard to take what John saw and turn it into a story (it might involve adding things to the Biblical account). I could see us using someone else’s point of view instead of John’s and writing their take of Revelation.

This reminds me of a book I read very recently, in which the main character was experiencing many dreams and visions of events in the Old and New Testaments. One vision was of London as it would appear in the midst of the Tribulation, with much destruction and chaos. What if we did something like that?
