Eirivia sighed, this Alayna person seemed even more reclusive then she was. And then the futuristic Vanice was apparently going to take them into her present? That didn’t sound like a good idea, so Eiri decided to do something about it. “Okay. Okay. People. Vanice. Why are we going into a time machine? I mean, we don’t even know you! And now you just expect us to go into that machine thing of yours and just do whatever you say!? I want to get out as much as anyone, but I don’t think this is a good idea.”

Korzen looked at Eiri like she was crazy. In fact, she probably was crazy. New people kept randomly popping up, and if this Vanice could get them out, he’d be happy to do that before anymore weird stuff happened. “Eiri.” He hissed, trying to get her attention so she would quit being so suspicious and distrustful. “Eiri.”

Eirivia noticed Kor trying to talk to her, and promptly ignored him. She already knew what he was going to say, and didn’t want to hear it. After all, she told herself, it’s not being paranoid, it’s being smart.

Korzen sighed. Eiri obviously wasn’t going to listen. “Vanice. Ignore Eiri and just show us this thingy to get us out.”

Eirivia death-glared at Kor. “No,” She ground out to Vanice, “Ignore Korzen. I want to hear why we should trust you.”
