Wow, I am really missing out on the deep conversations here…I shall readily insert myself in it.
I’ve been meaning to write a negative arc character, but haven’t simply because I sort of don’t want to (?) twist my characters too much…although, the thought is always there…
Your story sounds really interesting! Please tell me if you’re finished or need help with it!
I actually wanted to talk about my newest installation, but I guess I’ll stick with Lisa. *sticks out tongue at her* (And it’s not like we’re best
friendsenemies.)Lisa has a positive character arc, although at some points she may head into a minor negative arc. In the first part of the book, she goes from believing in forgiveness cannot be truly achieved to forgiveness is forgetting (partly because she loses her memories) to forgiving does not equate to understanding. In the entire novel (meaning not just part 1), it’s more like she starts out being enslaved to her past and science sh hails as a god to realizing her jailed-in-ness with a hint of despair and desperation to having full faith and courage in viewing the world as it truly is.
(Okay, pretend it does not sound as confusing as it is. Somehow I will pull it off on paper…)
