@devastate-lasting Very good! I like the way you’ve tied your quirks into your character’s personalities!
@thetessinator I love how you put yours into a more creative format. And nice job with the quirks themselves. I am wondering, though, if there is any way to make the first quirk more apparent. It seems to me that it takes a little too long to develop to be considered a quirk. Remember, all we need is a coat-hook!
The last one with the paper stars, though… very well done. That’s a great way to give a seemingly weird quirk a touching payoff…
@sarah-inkdragon It seems you have your quirks well worked-out! I can tell that this isn’t the first time you’ve thought about this stuff… 😛
@princess-foo Very nice! I’m especially pleased that you used this exercise to make some of your existing characters more round! That’s excellent!
@seekjustice Three quirks for the same character – I like it. And it brings up a good point: characters should have more than just one quirk! Obviously, if they are just a side character, maybe one quirk is all that is needed, but in general, we should have a few different quirks for each of our main characters.

Digging deeper: Since it seems that most of you had a pretty easy time of it with this week’s prompt, I’m going to up the challenge for us. This is, as all the activities here in the guild, completely optional. Just to push ourselves a little further. 🙂
What I would love to see is a quirk that seems like the smallest of bizarre details when the character is first introduced, but which turns into a major plot-twist at some point later in the story.
DO NOT USE an existing character. Make this up just for this prompt.
So basically, we’re focusing on tying our quirk to a major plot-twist/point. This is just one aspect of quirking that we’re zooming in on.
