@eden-anderson – Ohhh, cool! Thanks. I will definitely take another look at the man-to-merman transition. Originally, I was aiming for 700 words (and went over, as usual). Now that I can go up to 1000, I have lots of options. Thanks for pointing me in a good direction for how to use those words! Don’t sell yourself short. The newest writer has been a reader for years. Also, thanks so much for reading my other stuff! I tried to keep it tight with Biblical culture and also avoid adding anything to the Biblical narrative. I agree with you about Biblical fiction. This is more like “Biblical Backstory” if that’s a thing. Guess it is now 😉 If I post my other ones, I’ll be sure to tag you so you can read it if you like.
