That unfortunate duck. That’s awful (and hilarious).
Well, your poem just about sums everything up. What more is there to say? 😛
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) The Typing Poem is the earliest one I have. I’m sure I did more, but those have been lost or destroyed over the years.
This one is probably my worst poem (my younger sister criticized it once (as she did with many of my poems), much to my annoyance. Now, however, I get it.
Color
Once upon a time on a cloudy night,
I saw something that was such a fright,
Not a single color,
Nothing blue or green, for
All that you could see was, sadly, black and white.
Then, before my eyes, it was bright as day,
I saw all the colors in their brilliant array,
I saw blue and yellow,
Makes a happy fellow,
I saw all the colors and I finally could say,
“There was once a time when color I didn’t see,
I would long for color and I would plea,
‘Color, I really want it’,
And then, with color the world lit,
And now I run though color with glee.”
