@daeus-lamb No story ideas at the moment, but I have been thinking for a while that I should try a short story. So maybe next week, for the joust deal, I can try and get a first draft done and up the New Wessex word-count:) That is how that works, right?

Also, I’ve read some of your poetry and it’s amazing! I’m so glad I’m in your guild! Do you have a specific poetry-writing routine? (I direct that question at anyone, by the way, not just Daeus.) I usually just write a few paragraphs, being intentionally over-descriptive, and then whittle it down into stanzas and such. I don’t have any experience with free verse, I generally leave that to @cindy, but it intrigues me.

Also, who has favourite poets? Mine include Emily Dickinson, Luci Shaw, Andrew Peterson, and William Cowper.
