Guys, I need some help.

… Okay so I feel like visual storytelling is something that God wants me to do. And right now, I’ve just got out of school, and don’t have a very demanding job yet. So I feel like I need to be working on SOMETHING. Because if I don’t start now, when I have time.. I might never make that first leap. I have told myself, that I am going to make a comic. And no matter how awful it is, I am going to finish it. (A short comic, of course.)  A couple of weeks ago, I was very motivated and got some concept art done, and started working on figuring out how this story will go. And as I am typing this out to you, I haven’t done any work on it since last week. I know I need to work on this, and I know I can learn to enjoy this process. But because this is my first project I know it’s going to be awful, and far below the standard of storytelling I want to meet. And because of this, mostly, I absolutely dread working on this thing.  So.. coming to the point of this thread. I was thinking about this earlier today, and.. Having a space where I am being held accountable for weekly updates on my comic progress, might help me out a lot. I know most of you aren’t able to be very active on the forums right now, (or at least, I assume.) But if anyone has the time to help keep me accountable, I would really  really appreciate it.

If anyone else has projects they want to work on, (doesn’t have to be a comic) and wants to join in on being held accountable for weekly updates, feel free to let me, and anyone else in the guild know what you want to be working on. 🙂
