@e-jo3 Also, just going to put it out there, but you need to have emotion in all stories. And generally, Sci-Fi is actually one of the most renowned types. I’ve recently edited a novel that was sci-fi, and it was amazing with highly strong character voice and with an exceptional plot. I’m fairly certain that not containing emotion and drama is not exactly one of sci-fi’s requirements.

Also, the 208th word in refers to a planet, the 6th sentence said that she was about to crash, the 281st word says how she’s travelling, and all of that is before the end of the first page.

I think that maybe you need to rest a bit more. Being sick does tend to make it harder to focus when reading, and I’m not entirely sure if some of those slip-ups were because of your exhaustion and general illness. Praying that you recover soon!
