Activity

So I wrote a poem last night, and I was hoping for some feedback about it. I write a lot of poetry late at night when I have trouble falling asleep, and lately I’ve been messing around with a sweet and simple feel portraying things a young child would go through or do throughout their day.

I like to sing to my Grandma,

She likes to hear my tune,

I beat my can for the drum,

And stomp through the room.

 

I sing it loud,

I sing it dancing,

I sing it proud,

I sing it prancing,

 

When the parade is finely over,

She says that I’m the best,

And gives me cake or cookies

For while I take my rest.
