@j-a-penrose I’m heartbroken. There go all my snake patting plans… 😛 (I promise you I had none. Snakes are not okay on any continent. I had an uncle who said snakes “might not hurt me, but they make me hurt myself,” and I share his philosophy.) XD
Sheep are less common here than cattle, that’s true, although we do have sheep, goats, and the occasional strange livestock. We, for instance, have emu fencing on our property because the previous owners raised them when they were popular awhile back. *shrugs*
We don’t really raise deer on farms here…they’re *our* pests. They get in the garden and eat everything. Is that why roos are pests? I know they eat grass in the wild, but I bet they munch on the garden, too…
And, yeah…don’t pet an untamed squirrel. They’re surprisingly feisty. 😛 I still want to tame one for a pet, though, once @rolena-hatfield catches one for each of us. 😉 Lol!
