Leana felt something warm drape on her shoulders and glanced up just in time to see Arsene skipping away toward Alessio and John. She smiled a bit, He’s sweet, and adjusted the blanket. Will it be cold, where we’re going..? 

She struggled to hold down mirth, as she listened to the men talk. That John was only nineteen, was shocking. But not nigh as much as Arsene being… forty-five… Leana’s eyes widened. My dad’s around that old. But she said nothing and hunkered in the blanket a bit more. She won’t sleep, but her eyes lower to the floor again, and more thoughts coarse through her head.
