Yes, that makes sense! The way you have it it sounds a little dystopian, which is great if that is your genre. Also–and you may already know this–you will need compelling motivation both for Lyra and her family: Lyra needs motivation to run away, and her family need motivation to try and find her.If you don’t mind, could you review this new idea and see if it makes sense and is realistic?
