Greetings! I’m Rose, pleased to meet you!
Your world looks fascinating! I can tell you’ve put a lot of work into it! I like your unique races!
I’ve been writing for two years, and I’ve been on SE for about a year of that. It’s an awesome community, I’ve made some great friends here 🙂
I’m currently writing a fantasy trilogy. I’m almost done with the draft of the third book, and I’m getting critiques for my first book. I’m also plotting/brainstorming another fantasy standalone and a contemporary mystery.
I’m not planning to publish the trilogy, probably ever. I only wrote it for fun and practice. I’m not sure about the standalone fantasy, but the mystery might end up getting published. I’m praying about it and leaving my options open 🙂
I mainly write magic-less fantasy, that’s more grounded in reality. I’ve heard this referred to by many terms, from Kingdom Fantasy to Historical Fantasy, but neither of those two seem to be widespread terms for it.
I’m interested in the art on your website, specifically the 3D modeled art. Did you make it? It looks great!
I’m a digital artist, but I mainly stay in the painting/illustration side of things. I’ve done a lot of art for my trilogy, mainly because my writing and art inspire each other back and forth!
I have a great fascination with history in general and the medieval period specifically. I’ve been doing HEMA for the past six months, which has only fueled it and given me more material from which to write. (It’s unbelievably useful for writing fantasy, which pretty much always involves swords. As it should 🙂 )
Do you have a time period you find particularly interesting?
It was nice to meet you!
I have had to develop a regular diet for humble pie in my writing journey.
Writers subsist on coffee and humble pie with a healthy dose of readers’ tears 😀
