Hi Braelynn! I’m Rose! Pleased to meet you! *Sweeps cloak in a dramatic bow*
I’m a fantasy writer, mainly! (Though I love reading historical fiction and mysteries as well!) My WIP is a fantasy trilogy, I’m over halfway with drafting the third book!
I am self-described as a tenacious teen who is infatuated with books, languages, and the thesaurus.
Aww, yess, same!! Do you speak any languages besides English? If not, which would you like to learn? What’s your favorite weird/unusual word?
Equestrian enthusiast and horse owner.
*High fives* Me too! What’s your horse’s name? What are they like?! I want to know everything! (Is this an excuse for me to rant about my horses too? Nooo…. XD) Do you ride English or Western?
My current novel (a fantasy) is on the topic of absolute truth and relativity (I know, big topic :D). I would love to hear any ideas on how to incorporate this into a novel without it being super obvious (for the first while or so at least). This novel is set in the Middle Ages. I’ll just give you all a super brief introduction, and if you have any questions, just holler!
Oh man, that’s an awesome theme! I love everything you’ve written on it so far! I bet it’ll turn out amazing! At what stage are you? What’s your favorite thing about it so far?
Some more brief fun facts about me! I adore medieval weapons in general and swords in particular! I’ve been doing HEMA for a few months now and I love it so much! I play the Celtic harp, I’m a digital artist, and I’ve been writing for just about two years. (I think next month is my writiversary actually. (I just made up that word but I love it already))
I’m fascinated by historical fashion and I sew a lot! (Also I yell at books that confuse bustles and crinolines and stays and corsets. I’m reading a book that talked about an 1810s heroine wearing “a bright red dress with crinolines as big as a sofa” and I had to take deep breaths not to scream, it’s great! XD)
Also, I know you’re going to ask about the quote thingy because everyone struggles with it XD
Select the part of the other person’s text you want to quote, then click on the top right button above the box that says “quote”. It should look like this:
Hello everyone!Otherwise, you can copy and paste it and then click on the quote icon in the top left corner of the writing box, and that works too!
