Well, what are you thinking by ‘civil war/steampunk’ era?  I mean, how would that work? 🤔 I think futuristic is overused (haha!), so maybe medieval, if we decide against steampunk.  Actually, I think it would fit better if we did steampunk/civil war OR multiple worlds (planets, or not?  I’m thinking no…).  Don’t you think that it wouldn’t really fit if we put both into the same story.  But maybe I just don’t have enough “scope for the imagination”. 😋
