His fingers are brushing the triggers, but his face is calm and composed as he keeps the guns trained on my chest. “I could ask you the same thing.”

I narrow my eyes, but before I can come up with something snarky to say, he lowers his weapons and asks, “does the term ‘Avengel’ mean anything to you?”

I tilt my head. Avengel? What is that? He’s clearly just like the others: out of this galaxy — or his mind. I straighten and sheath my green blades, although I don’t clip the hilts back onto my belt.

“No. I’m afraid ‘Avengel’ means nothing to me. But,” I smile, “do you know who Count Dooku is?”

I’m pretty sure he doesn’t, and, even if he did, he likely wouldn’t tell me anyway, but maybe by his reaction I’ll be able to gauge where he stands, if anything. But, if he is on our side, I think he’d be a strong ally.
