Rhioe was staring at the wall. She’d been staring at the wall for a while, ever since Judah volunteered to take her shift. She brushed a strand of hair out of her face, she shouldn’t cry anymore, but this grief was overwhelming. She couldn’t think of what might happen, she couldn’t get away from this pain.

She’d taken care of Aura for a long time, she was so close to the little girl, it was almost like having a family. Rhioe sighed, she’d never known her family, they had dumped her on the street, maybe that was why Aura meant so much to her.

The dim room was suddenly suffocating, she had to get out. She rushed out the door and onto the street, tears falling from her stinging eyes, crying so hard she could barely breathe.

Racing down the streets, she didn’t stop until she reached Jin’s house. He lived alone with his dog, and always welcomed Rhioe, even telling her she was always allowed there, even when he wasn’t home. In this case, he wasn’t.

She slammed the door behind her, leaning against the door, she cried. She cried until she couldn’t cry anymore, until she struggling to breathe and there seemed no point to go on. She heard a heavy knock on the door, but she ignored it, trying to breathe. The door opened, and Rhioe heard a someone approach. Someone cleared their throat, and tapped Rhioe on the shoulder.

She turned, a tall figure stood in the doorway, she got up and backed out of the house. Who was this, and what was he doing here? Her foot caught the curb gave out under her, and she fell. She landed weirdly, her ankle began to burn. She couldn’t think, her breath was short, pain shot through her foot. The last thing she saw was a tall man standing over her, looking concerned, then she fainted.

What do you think? I’m thinking he was sent there on a lead from someone in the government regarding suspicious activity on Jin’s part. Idk, we could change it, it’s up to you. 🙂
