“ARSENE!” This new person – Sherlock apparently – shouted and smashed the cave wall in the particles of dust. His scaled knuckles shimmered with fiery light as he slowly collected himself.

Nathair raised his eyebrow with a bemused smirk and the man turned to him, continuing in a much quieter, controlled voice.

“Arsene. What’s your connection to him?”

How much did Sherlock know? Probably not a lot considering his response, though he could know more than he was letting on. Nathair rolled the dice in his pocket between his fingers methodically.d

“Mere passing acquaintanceship,” Nathair assured, probing “he seemed to know an old friend of him, Alessio.”

He might turn up some useful information if Nathair played his cards right.
