First, that is still critique. It’s just critique of a different sort. Second, alphas are not mostly just readers. They are specifically the people you trust the best to catch big picture problems before they end up in the hands of the beta readers.

What you are looking for at this point, what you are describing, is developmental feedback, which I’m happy to give.
