As we got the announcement of the SE contest today, I’ve decided to submit this to the contest rather than just for SE submission. The only problem is the contest word count is 5000 instead of the standard 6000 words, so now I need to cut 17% further from the story =P Any advice you guys have on this would be sooo welcome. I will cut the introduction, but I’m not sure what else should go.
