Update. After my insurance settled, I still owe about 3K on my old car, and need to figure out what I can afford in a new one. Until I figure that out, I can borrow the car of my grandma, who lives in the same building as me. Thank the Lord.

I’ve taken over the writing group, have asked inactive members to leave to make room for new people, and have scheduled our first meeting at the end of the month. Fingers crossed. I settled a bunch of communication issues we’d been struggling with for months, so things should run more smoothly now. I just hope all fifty group members don’t become active at once, or I have no idea where we’re going to meet =P
