@steward-of-the-pen How does this class work? Do you think it’s worth the money?

I’ve taken a few writing classes around the internet, and I’ve been pretty disappointed in all of them. They’ve been series of short videos with some instructor feedback and some optional class interaction, and have generally seemed like excused to charge $300-$500 for what I’d expect out of a twenty dollar ebook.

Not that I think any classes offered by Story Embers-related people would be like that, but they leave me very cautious when I hear rave reviews of the same classes I hated. I’d love to grow and support SE and KP people at the same time, but the voice at the back of my head thinks “wouldn’t I be much better off buying a couple hundred bucks worth of craft books or taking a mentor friend out for dinner?”
