@tinuviel I’m glad you’ve had success with worldbuilding! It’s always exciting when everything starts falling into place. 😀 My goals have been going pretty well, thanks! I had a significant breakthrough with my world building as well, and while I wasn’t really able to finish my other writing goals, I’m happy with the progress I made. I didn’t…[Read more]

@tashah-claymore Uh… I’ve never seen Pirates of the Caribbean. The only Calyspo I know about is the one from Greek mythology.
Thanks! And the food pyramid thing is a good idea.
@w-o-holmes Nice! William is a good name.
@hope-mcclellan Yeah! I was sorta thinking that way! You put it in a better way than I was thinking though, and I really like…[Read more]

Wow, looks like I missed a lot, too. XD Most of it I was able to read earlier in the day, though.
@kari-karast I think your idea about an elements school sounds awesome! I have some thoughts on the questions you asked.
I definitely would have some embodiments be encompassing. I wouldn’t have a character for each fruit, but maybe one character…[Read more]

Yea. I think they’re all unique in their own way, but for a standish-out one, I’d say either the fourth or fifth one. Though maybe Chikelu Citlali Annegret? I dunno.
XD! Yeah, my real name’s William.

Nice. Yeah. Soo…what now? Elves? Men? The line of trolls?

XD! Now that’s a new one; Life can bring Death back to life.

So, we’ve briefly breached the realms of the dwarve. That was only really on what type or race of dwarve. Let’s (shall we?) talk now about more of the daily lives of the dwarves? And also…[Read more]

Those names are great for the dragon/chicken/thing keeper. I hate to break y’all’s bubble, but Kalypso is practically the same as Calypso *pirates of the caribbean* I like the last two name for that, though. And the last one.
Maybe some of the thing/embodiments embody more than one thing? This seems cool. 🙂 Like…[Read more]

@tashah-claymore Thanks! Yeah, I was thinking that it’d probably end up as an alternate reality. The problem is figuring out all the history.
Hm… dragon/hippocampus/goat/cat?
Agreed. I think they might be going into Healing Winds too, actually. I don’t remember.
@hope-mcclellan Thank you!
Heh. Yeah. I just couldn’t get that image out of my…[Read more]

I just wrote KD on the spur of the moment by accident and it seemed pretty good, so I did it. ? Don’t ask XD
Also…how about Drothons? -For the chicken/dragon things- Or Drithe(o)ns? OR…be right back.
On dwarves in deserts/jungles. I think both of these ideas have much potential; I particularly liked the…[Read more]

@kari-karast Your worlds and take on Faerie and Fey sound absolutely amazing!! That is so imaginative and neat!
@tashah-claymore I like your ideas for volcanic dwarves! I am really drawn to the idea of making art out of half-solid lava. If you’re really interested in using this idea, it may be worth it to look up the different properties,…[Read more]

Worlds. Yes. Many worlds. XD One of my stories(that’s actually going to be a series eventually hopefully maybe) has tons of different dimensions, although that one’s paused rn. (The one with the Faerie and Fey.)
One of my stories takes place on a lava planet, although that one’s also paused. My novel WIP takes place on a…[Read more]

@tashah-claymore and @kari-karast That’s cool the two of you do a homeschool choir together! I used to be in one, and I adored it. What do you two sing? I am a second soprano, but in two-part harmony I go alto. (sorry, slight divergent from fantasy world-building)
You can totally call them swamp dwarves @tashah-claymore, and thank you for the…[Read more]

@hope-mcclellan Yeah. As @tashah-claymore said, we know each other irl and are used to each other’s antics. XD (Well, the antics are mostly mine, but ya know.)
Also, the centaurs with rugs idea sounds pretty cool! And I like the swamp dwarves too.
Yep. The Mirkwood elves’ home in the movies was also created out of stone, at least…[Read more]

That’s a great idea! ON CENTAURS: The centaurs I use usually – in the much earlier history – lived in lush valleys toward the north. Now they are more of a myth among the peoples. Talk and tell of them is very rare. I like your rugs! The dwarves are great chefs (among other things) and the gnomes are known for their skill in the…[Read more]

Okay, @tashah-claymore and @kari-karast, you two are hilarious together. XD And I LOVE @tashah-claymore ‘s idea for heat-tolerant dwarves! I like to think that any species can adapt to any sort of environment, given the clan is there for a number of generations.
Also, I am totally digging the idea of dwarves in trees. I’m thinking a clan of…[Read more]
