@w-o-holmes that’s great!  Oil paint is easier to work with than acrylic.  White paint is extremely important, though!  And I hope you do get into it.  Painting is fun, even if you’re not that experienced with it.  I get pictures and things in my head as well when I’m writing my stories.  So right now I’m just trying to get the skills to make those pictures come to life.  I have the hardest time drawing people, especially full-body pictures.  I have done a couple decent portraits, though.  I get most of my art supplies from a store called Blick, mostly because my art teacher recommended it.
