@w-o-holmes this is fantastic!  I’m not super experienced in poetry, so if there were technical things about it that weren’t quite right I didn’t notice.  And everything can be improved, even if it’s already good.  Even poems/stories that are already published could probably be improved.  I’d love to read more of your poems, because this one is amazing!
