I do believe I’ve read that before. 🙂

I tend to have the opposite problem and not show enough emotion, but I still struggle with these sometimes.

Over-explaining happens to me a lot. It doesn’t help that my most comfortable writing style uses a narrator-like voice, which involves a lot of telling.

That and rushing are probably the hardest for me. I find it easier to write an action scene to start a book and get something going, but too often that remains the first scene in the book for no other reason.
