What I read: I just finished rereading The Songkeeper Chronicles by Gillian Bronte Adams, and I’m about to start reading Sanderson’s Mistborn trilogy.

What I wrote: I’ve been writing short snippets for fun and for practice in consistency. I also wrote a tiny bit on the first draft of my WIP, but I’ve mainly been trying to work out more plot so I can get myself unstuck.

What I learned: So much…too much to summarize here.

Other: I joined the Young Writer Workshop and started a writer’s group with several people I know from church. I’ve also been starting to think a little more about platform and what strategies I’ll use to best serve and grow my audience. I’m not ready to start carrying out anything serious yet, but it’ll be good to have a plan in mind.
