@elisha-starquill Ahh, yes, that sounds tricky! What is the wise person like? Does (s)he have a distinguishing characteristic or relationship with the MC that you could maybe use to make their time together more intriguing?

Mine is also a conversation, where the ex-enemy supporting character is telling my protagonist about the enemy’s plot. I know exactly what the plot is, but the catch is that she’s not telling him the real thing—(a) because she’s trying to protect him from running off to stop it and getting killed, and (b) because she’s afraid that if he hears the real thing, he’ll find out about something she did a long time back and hate her because of it. xD So, I’m a bit stuck on what details of the plot she would keep the same to avoid suspicion and what she would change to best fit her purposes.
