Ah, okay. I understand. Let me add to what I wrote.

The fact that we’re not living for this life does not mean our life here is pointless. Do you think our all-powerful, loving God would leave you here to suffer if your life wasn’t worth living? The only reason this rotten earth hasn’t been destroyed and remade yet is that there are still lost, broken people to be saved. That’s why we’re here. When I say we’re living for the next life and not this one, I mean that we’re not living to gain things here, but to gain things that have eternal value. Whether that be leading people to Christ, encouraging and supporting other Christians, or simply growing in our relationship with God. Some of us will go through seasons where we can’t do anything but wait on Him and grow. And that’s okay. That’s where He put us…for now. That doesn’t mean that’s where we’ll be forever and that doesn’t mean He can’t use that for His glory. All of us have room to grow in our walk with Christ. Is developing a closer relationship with the King of the universe meaningless?

If you’re not dead yet, God still has things for you in this life. Ask Him to show you what they are. Ask Him to use you in ways you don’t expect. Maybe one day you’ll look back at this time in your life and realize He has been using you all along.
