That’s a chorkney. They’re from the Wingfeather Saga (AH BEST BOOKS EVER!) so if you want to know more about chorkneys, you’ll have to read them 😉
Oh my goodness. I LIKE IT! Maybe in the end either the villains lost the painting while they were time traveling and the jealous artist found it and decided to give it back to da Vinci unharmed, or the jealous artist and da Vinci decide to work together to outsmart them and get the painting back.
Okay guys, does anyone have any objections to that idea? Whose POV should we use? I’m thinking the jealous artist is the best one to go with, since he’d be their through the whole thing. Maybe it could start with him arriving while the three villains are taking it.
Another quick question: Are the villains the only ones from modern times, and the only ones who know how to time travel? If so, was the painting still wet when they got it but dried when they jumped to a later time?
I think we could have a lot of fun with which times we chose for the villains to jump to. Maybe they could be arguing about where to go and make a mistake that lands them in a really bad spot (i.e., like a battleship during a famous war) and that’s what causes them to lose the painting.
Emily, since you seem to have a good idea of what to do, do you want to try a first draft? That way we’d at least have something to work with, since we’re running pretty low on time.
P.S., I’m going to disappear for most of the weekend so I don’t think I’ll be able to help any more until Monday (plus I’m going to be with a friend who’s an Avenser this afternoon, so obviously I can’t work on it :P). But I have less school than usual next week, so I should be around more. See ya! *salutes and slips into the shadows*
