Brendin regarded the dragon a moment.  Memories of wyverns crossed his mind, vicious and bloodthirsty cannibals.  Slowly he shook his head and crossed through the opening Jericho had indicated.  The girl was beginning to stir so he adjusted his hold on her somewhat, ensuring she wouldn’t fall.
