I just found out that Mailchimp is free for up to 2K subscribers. *cue Jasmine singing* A whole new world……

So. I have questions now!

How exactly does Mailchimp work? Is there any reason not to use it? I haven’t signed up yet, just because I don’t want anything hidden/unexpected to pop up. But, assuming that there’s nothing of that sort, after I sign up, what should I expect?

This is all really general, and I guess I’ll have more specific questions after I potentially sign up. But those are my initial ones.
