Hey @brandon-miller sorry I’m a little late to the party too!

I’ve written more of a sad poem about sunset. I’ve seen a lot of happy ideas and themes around sunset here, so maybe something sad could add to the creative mix.

In the poem, I use the sun going down on the evening of  autumnal equinox as a setting for a story of a family coping with a joint custody divorce from the kids’ perspective. The sun going down goes along with the children being called inside from playing outside, the abusive father coming to pick the kids up, and the mother’s feeling of hopelessness about the situation.

It’s not exactly inspiring but I thought it was kind of original.
