I think God had you write this for me Kate. Thank you. And I thank God for what you have written. It gave me chills, I was moved by it and I hope I can learn from it. I desire to become more than the rut that I have fallen into. And I need God to make me into a temple that he would be willing to enter and to reside in. Thank you so much Kate.

Wow Gabrielle….that was great. Only after I read that Arron’s heart clenched from killing the lion did I get struck with the realization that Justin was the lion. My mind was drawn back to the part where Justin hoped that the counselor would appreciate his sacrifice. That hurt. A lot. I thought he was feeling guilty for calling the lion and the…[Read more]

Thank you so much Katherine. I don’t even know what to say!
So beautiful! So true! And something I need to remember. Very encouraging.
May God Bless you soo much for reaching and touching my heart with this simple and yet precious truth!

Wow…very moving. I was saddened when the man lost his child and then his wife. In a book I’m writing a similar situation occurred; and so when I read your poem I was struck with the resemblance between the two.
I hope that didn’t come off in a bad way. I really enjoyed your poem.

I really enjoyed and connected with your poem; especially the part that says “Today I canβt make my lines connect And I strive alone in the corner of the barn Waiting for something to catch No one here to read my words”. And this part too actually: “And Iβm ready to give up My strings are Breaking, breaking, breaking Oh my soul”. Very well wri…[Read more]

Well done. I enjoyed your poem a lot. Rain is such a blessing especially when it’s dry and your garden doesn’t want to grow. No moisture=no food=very very bad! π Thank God for rain!

Chelsea wow! It was an amazing story full of emotion and relationships that were beautifully balanced and it is in my opinion a masterpiece. That being said…WHAT HAPPENED!?! I loved it but the suspense! Did Jamie die? Did she live? Ahhhh!!! π

First off I’d like to say that I think these are great tips (I especially like the popping your story through contrast section) but that’s only if you already know the art of making a character funny. Some of my favorite books include humor and I was wondering if you had any tips on how to write humor? I would love to be able to write funny…[Read more]

Thank you Brandon for the insight into how to write a good death/kill scene. I wrote a story in which on of my main characters died and so when I just read your post I tried to see if my character’s death did what it should. I think that it did, but we’ll see when it gets published. (hope my story death will be moving and won’t cause riots) π
