Hello Story Embers folks,

A good deal of you will know about my WIP/baby, known as The Stars Fill Infinity. 

Well, I’m currently editing it, for the third time, and I’m preparing to do another round of edits, before sending it to a professional editor. I’m hoping to have the final edits for this draft finished by May 31st, and then I’ll be sending it out June 1st to a select number of beta readers.

So, what am I looking for in a beta reader?

I’m looking for five new readers. I’ve already had two different sets of readers look this novel over, so I’m confident that I have caught a great many of the mistakes, and I’m just looking for five new sets of eyes to give me their opinions.

What sort of critique am I looking for?

A general one, focussing mostly on plot, theme, characters and setting. However, if you feel you are gifted in the area of line edits, I would be most happy to accept your suggestions in that area.

I know that several people have already expressed an interest in being a beta reader, so I’m offering them priority. I believe it was @eden-anderson @selah-chelyah and @ashira who mentioned it to me before?

But otherwise, if you’re interested, let me know! I want to stick strictly to five, but I’ll definitely have more beta reading opportunities coming up soon. Basically, it’s first in first-served. I would want the feedback returned by the end of June, so you’d have to be able to read fairly quickly.

Before I go, just a few content cautions:

Lots of violence (I wouldn’t describe it as graphic, but it could potentially be triggering to some people), mentions of prostitution, an illegitimate child, one MC is an unmarried, teenaged mother, a few mentions (and one non-graphic scene) of attempted rape/sexual assault.
