Goal:
Have all of my poetry catalogued in my spreadsheet and individually typed into Word docs.
At the moment, I have some poems in Word, some on paper, some MIA, and some on Instagram. Obviously, I desperately need to have them all in one place so I can find them–especially since my next goals are related to publishing this stuff.…[Read more]

So um…I’m just being SUPER useful in this word war…I have written exactly zero words this month.
We can’t count words from previous Novembers, can we?!?!

Haha! You sound like me. I have enough goals that I always have the option to procrastinate productively. I should probably pick that option more often, though. π
Wow, that’s a nice bundle of words already!

Well, it does help to know your characters… I bet your villain is one of the types who can hide their sneakiness in plain sight, too. It certainly makes things interesting.

Rachel Rogers replied to the topic For All The Historical Fictioners in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 7 months ago
Hello, other historical fiction people!
I write a lot of animal stories that historical time frames and constraints don’t really apply to, BUT…when I write people stories…
Favorite time periods and figures? Civil War and post-Civil War eras…not so much the war part as the fashion/technology/pioneer lifestyle…no specific figures come to…[Read more]

*gasp* I–I don’t know… I mean…
We both like strawberry ice cream…
But not imitation strawberry flavor…
And we both watched Tom & Jerry when we were kids…
AND we both like balloons…
AND NOW THIS…
*eyes go wide* *whispers* Are we the same…[Read more]

@graceabounds2129 @happyholly_c @brandon-miller @rolena-hatfield
I’m realizing that my story is not ready for NaNo yet… :'( So, while I’m still working on it diligently, I’m not going to force it and try to write a bunch of words when neither the author nor the story is ready.
BUT, I can be a cheerleader for everyone who’s sticking with it and…[Read more]

Cool! Didn’t know that. π
Being on the same page, one way or another, is definitely a good idea. π I like the idea of the Google spreadsheet…or we could just have a regular Google doc, too. It wouldn’t automatically add up totals, but it also wouldn’t get messed up if someone didn’t put their numbers in exactly…[Read more]

“As for music, I like so much itβs hard to say what specifically.” Hey, me too! xD I like everything from old hymns, to CCM, to multiple folk styles, to Latin, to pop opera, to decade-specific music. π
Those stories sound really neat! I’m always working on a series involving squirrels and other wildlife, but at the moment I’m writing a novel. I…[Read more]
