Marnin helped Finley help the girl out while Gwyneth shrunk the helicopter. The scene haunted him, and he limped forward. They were surrounded by a grassy area, with exotic foliage stretching all around them. The ground was slightly hilly but not enough of an incline to both his leg.

“Finley?”

Marnin turned, wondering where she had gone. She was staring at a stranger a few feet away from them. Confused, though when was he not at this point in this dream world, he motioned Gwyneth over to him. Suddenly there was a yell, like that of a wounded animal. Marnin frowned, moving to pull his daughter closer to him.

“Someone’s hurt!” Gwyneth yelled. She nearly dropped the helicopter as she bolted through the bushes yelling back. “We have to help them!”

“Gwyneth!” Marnin called after her, wincing as pain spasmned up his leg.
