“I’m not a real girl,” Tinke shook her head. “You are a real girl. It is playing! I like it! You wanted to play first…you hurt my hand,” Tinke smiled, putting her dagger back. “I wanted to play back!” She kicked the wall hard, wanting back out. The boy was mean, locking her up.

“I vote we don’t stay there either,” Llewellyn agreed. “We can camp on the street or something.” He wanted to avoid buildings after his last encounter.

Funny thing about that Andrew and Kari….Tinke comes from my mixed fairy tale retelling of Pinocchio and sprinklings of other tales. She’s actually a human soul merged with a tree spirit. So very close on the fairy thing.
