“Turn around. Now”

Llewellyn was about to protest that they were in the middle of a stand off when he realized what was going on. He quickly turned around, wings folding in slightly around him to hide the bright red that splashed across his pale complexion. He stayed alert however, wondering if they were the type to go for the back. Probably not the first girl considering she had helped the other girl. It was logical to go for the strongest looking ally, not that he was bragging on himself. But he did tower over both girls, which was slightly annoying. Why couldn’t they be taller, or he be shorter? This Crystal mistook him for the Hero Valkyrie, which was sort of disappointing. He hadn’t been in the hero business long, but he was at one time pretty sure he couldn’t be mistaken for other winged heroes.

“You can turn back around now.”

Oh right, back to the stand off now, he guessed. Llewellyn pivoted back towards them, spreading his wings once again. He didn’t like the girl’s bow, it made him nervous. Since he was tall, it made him a larger target. Easier to hit. If he didn’t time creating a gust of wind with his wings just right, he could have an arrow in him. Long distance was still his disadvantage despite working with Restoration.

“I’m Pegasus,” He said pointedly to Crystal, deciding to start back where he left off. “Not Valkyrie.”

The real girl’s name was Shara. “That is a pretty name,” she said lightly, deciding to ignore the mean boy. She was glad the real girl liked her enough to hold her hand. No one in the village would ever dream of doing that. “Why are we looking for clues on that island, and not this island? I opened my eyes here. Also there is an island behind us with a funny smell.”
