“Oh saw this in a movie once,” Ben whispered. “We take out the guards and go down the air ducts. They are probably keeping them around the middle or a secret underground floor. If we play it right then we should have no trouble getting down there, but the real thing is the escape plan because as we all know…”

“Hey kid what are you doing?”

“Heroes never get the time to plan an escape route,” Ben rolled his eyes, getting up to face the guard. “What are you doing up here, Mr. bald tattoo head dude?”

    “I asked you first!”

“This is that cliche stupid villian minion,” Ben whispered to Reese.

“What did you say?” the guard yelled.

“You are stupid!” Ben yelled back.

    “That’s it I’m calling…”

The guard was stopped mid sentance, and mid reach, as a giant venus fly trap gulped him up. Ben laughed, elbowing Reese.

“See he fell for the distraction! Never fail comedy!”

Bending over Ben picked up the walkie talkie thingy the bald, tattoo head dumb dude dropped. Looking back up he saw three more guards round the corner. Oops he had almost forgotten about backup. For a minute it was plants vs people and the plants won. Kinda like an old horror movie with an alien plant ravaging the city. Come to think of it he wasn’t from this world so he was alien. Cool.

Instead of air ducts they found an unlocked door and a flight of stairs. They were chased by guards half of the time, and chasing the guards the other half. Once they found a security room. Villains always kept a lot of cameras and that made it easy.

“Hey grumpy glowey eyed dude!” He yelled, upon finding them. “Miss flying lady super awesome girl!”

Grumpy glowey eyes seemed a bit confused when he saw Reese but that was alright because he didn’t know Reese, but he seemed generally glad to see them.

“Catch you later!” he called, running over to help Reese.

He turned catching sight of grumpy glowey eyes but mean version. Whoa, alternate universe bad guy. It was easy to tell because he was outside the cage. Kinda like Restoration and Riley, but only if like Restoration was bad. Or would it be Riley who would be bad? Yikes electricity.

“Don’t hurt my friends!” Ben yelled, throwing a handful of seeds. Vines wrapped around the cages, concealing both Cool winged superhero lady miss and grumpy, but getting nicer, glowy eyed dude sir.
