I play piano (as well as teach!) and I’m part of an acapella group! We are currently doing the Greatest Showman as a medley another guy in the group and I are writing! Eep!

Musicals….Number one on my list is Les Mis, Anastasia comes second, and the Count of Monte Cristo has placed third. I’ve listened and even enjoyed Hamilton, but I wouldn’t rank it anywhere near the other three. I listened/fast forwarded through Heathers. I’ve listened to Legally Blonde. Love any Rogers and Hammerstein musical. I ish ish like Phantom of the Opera? Haven’t listened to it a bunch except for the one song. AAH and if those first three were my first three NEWSIES comes fourth….love Jeremy Jordan. Oh and if Prince of Egypt counts…number five.

Does anyone research songs that fit their character?
