Daniel leaned against the corridor, listening to the conversations around the corner. Jewels and a ruby room. Treasure hunters? He did not doubt the rumors he had heard whispered in the streets of the nearby town that the rubies were valuable. There seemed to be three voices so far. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to join them. If they would even want him. Or they could kill him to get the rubies. Rubbing his arm he closed his eyes, what should he do?
