This is a great discussion topic! I adore father-daughter (or father-son, mother-son, mother-daughter) relationships. I especially like it the father or mother isn’t their actual parent, but they act as a father or mother figure. I haven’t finished a project with this kind of relationship, but it crops up all the time in the stories I plan.
