No problem! If you have any other questions, let me know! Writing Buddies are . . . I’m honestly not sure what the point of them is? You go to someone’s profile on the NaNoWriMo website, and you click the button that says “Add Writing Buddy” and they go in a list on your profile. The list is useful during Camp NaNoWriMo, because then you have cabins (basically a small chat group) and you can add your friends to your cabin if they’re doing Camp too and aren’t in another cabin. But in general, it’s kind of just a way to say “Oh hey, we’re both doing NaNo, that’s cool.”

(Side note: NaNoWriMo vs. Camp NaNoWriMo: NaNoWriMo is the event that occurs in November, and it’s the write-a-50K-word-novel-in-a-month challenge. If you do a challenge other than 50K words, you’re a NaNo Rebel like me. Most of the activity occurs on the forums, which are open to anyone. Camp NaNoWriMo occurs in April and July, and you can set basically any goal and work on any project type without being a rebel. Most of the activity occurs in cabins, which I described earlier, though there’s some activity on the forum. NaNoWriMo is also higher pressure, while Camp NaNo is just kinda chill. I know you asked SeekJustice that, but since it related to my comment, I thought I’d go ahead and answer. Hope that was ok!)
