First off I’m pretty sure my Dad is an INTJ. I know three different ISTJ’s at very different stages of life and he’s like none of them. I think I’m pretty good at telling when someones an N too… If we are going by dichotomies the one I usually have a hard time with is P vs J except for some of my very obviously J friends. Sorry, but they can really drive me nuts sometimes. Oh and as far as N’s mistyping as S’s I’m pretty sure that didn’t happen with me either. I’ve done a bit of research on ENFP’s and I’m very much an ENFP.
Yah I hate shallow conversation but to be honest I’m not that bad at it either. Yes, I totally do try and be friends with people even if it’s a challenge. I have actually found I have a really hard time just living with the fact that I don’t like someone especially if everyone else in my family likes them. Okay, so I actually know what you mean about Sp’s but their not all bad. I have an awesome ESTP friend and she is both fun to be around and really keeps me looking at things realistically. ESFP’s though are kind of hard for me to swallow. I have two ESFP sisters(which don’t get me wrong I love them) and know another ESFP girl and they all seemed pretty shallow and kinda annoying. But I also know an ESFP guy who is still a lot like that but different. I love seeing how personality types work out across gender. Anyways all that to say I’ve been kinda seeing them in a new light as I research more. They can be a good influence for me to just let go and have fun sometimes. Though I can’t believe I let myself be convinced to go apple dunking in our kitchen sink this fall!!!
INFJ’s are awesome I only know two but they are sweet they have that ever appealing N function and they are just all around great 🙂 How can you not know NT’s??? I know quite a bit of them and I love it! They are definitely hesitant about the whole thing though but at least most INTP’s I’ve found are totally intrigued at the same time.
INTJ’s well… since my dad is the only one I really know it’s kind of hard to say. They are cool most of the time and I love that they do their research before they come to conclusions. I guess I kinda have a tainted opinion. They are awesome visionaries and I love that my Dad is a reader and finds some really awesome self-improvement/visionary books to pass along. He also helps the whole family be more prepared and orderly which we really need but overall to that question I would say I really don’t know enough about them to form a strong opinion. I do read on them some but I think knowing the personality types is the best way to form an accurate opinion
