It was a dark and stormy night. Lara wrapped her coat around her as rain drenched the ground and soaked into her hair, running down her face. Lightning split the black sky every few moments, the only relief from the pervasive dark that pressed down on her from every angle.

A chill wind whipped Lara’s face, and she wiped droplets of water out of her eyes. Stepping through the puddles, she peered into the gloom and tried to find her path through the shadows.

Lightning flashed, giving her a momentary glimpse of her destination. Smiling, Lara raised her arms and dashed into the freedom that was the storm, darkness and rain and lightning splattering like the paint droplets in a masterpiece artwork around her.

XD I didn’t word count that, just tried to keep it short. It’s probably long, but anyway, that’s what I’ve come up with 😛
