You say you like crazy & chaotic in your characters… Well, you’ll find everything you want here. The volleyball idiots are the best idiots <3

Honestly, the most convincing arguments I’ve heard are “No unnecessary romantic subplots, just awesome friendships” and “Well-written characters who are simultaneously incredibly stupid.” I haven’t heard either of you complement one of the characters, it’s always some variation of ‘dumb’, ‘stupid’, ‘idiot’, and ‘chaotic’ (In the most complimentary way XD) What more could one ask for XD

Isn’t that so for almost any language? Even English isn’t half bad sometimes. (Even though I will always feel like English is the least impressive language on Earth. I’m just biased like that)

I always argue with my friends about this because English is my favorite language XD It sounds pretty, it has huge, complicated, overly specific words! I like speaking it, and it has ridiculous and awesome slang XD

I have exceptions though. I like expressing frustration in Afrikaans because they’ve found a million ways to be deeply, descriptively insulting without swearing XD (Afrikaans and Dutch are very different that way, Afrikaans is much more polite, while Dutch is ridiculously crass very casually.) Also when they don’t have a word for something they make up a descriptive word while Dutch borrows from French or English. You get some pretty hilarious words that way XD Such as “Hoist container” for an elevator in Afrikaans XD

And I’m sure Dutch has perks too. Maybe I’ll find them one day XD (Okay that’s slightly unfair but I’m not taking it back.)

 Basically, each descendant receives the “inheritance” of one of their ancestors (from either one of their parents) and carries on that “legacy” by carrying its name and, if there are any, curses or powers associated with that name.

Oh, man, that’s fascinating!! I love that premise, it has so much room for conflict!

As kind of a huge joke and also something of a casual experiment, all the main “Disney princess” fairytale characters will be represented by male descendants. Not because I have an agenda to push or anything xD but because I really, really wanted to know what a teenaged boy whose family legacy is Snow White would be like (the answer being, naturally: pure chaos), and it is just so much fun.

That’s the best subversion! I love that, especially if they retain their powers XD I’ve often made jokes that Aydin has Disney Princess powers, and it’s hilarious, since he’s the ‘dark and tragic backstory’ character XD For some reason animals just really like him, he always ends up with an animal sidekick accidentally XD

End ramble for the day. I think out of all my stories, it’s most fun for me to talk about this one, because it sounds like it actually makes sense and has a plot or something

Oh, goodness, that sounds amazing! What are your favorite characters? What are your favorite powers to write, because I imagine some of them are really interesting!
