Is it okay to borrow other characters when it comes to conversations? I’m wondering if I should respond, since the scene’s halted with us facing each other…. or wait for others to join in? Or perhaps just a short scene?

The way you did it is perfect! We have a general guideline that you can have other characters carry a conversation. If anything is out of character, the next person will just rewrite that bit in their post, so even if you ever mischaracterize, it’s okay!

Also, your characterization of Mejt was awesome! It was spot on!

Is there a typical curtesy limit as to how fast one writes a new post from one to the next? (lol. just asking since I’ve written a few so far already…)

Well, I write no more than one a day just because of time but there’s no real limit XD If you get in an interaction with someone in the same time zone, you might go back and forth two or three times a day. Basically, you’re doing great, don’t worry about it!

This falls in the category of SE just being buggy XD That technique of splitting it up usually works!

Yay! it did make me nervous…writing someone else’s characters… felt like messing with someone else’s masterpiece… but this is a lot of fun. I needed something like this. I still consider myself a novice when it comes to writing… and this is the first time I’ve really engaged in any form of creative writing activity.

Seeing other people’s takes on my characters is one of my favorite things about the castles! Especially since you get to see whether you were consistent and what stuck out to others. It’s always fun to read, and you did a great job!

Also, I love Abirami already XD Well-intentioned but clueless is the absolute best character type! He’s trying to do the right thing but he has no idea what he’s doing, bless his heart XD

He and Basil would get along most spectacularly… XD
